The Ministry of the Environment has posted a notice on the Environmental Registry of Ontario (ERO) for the public to comment on a proposal to renew Dofasco’s permit for Limited Operational Flexibility (LOF) to exceed Ontario’s standard limits on air and noise pollution.
Hamilton 350 has made this short explainer video to break down the key issues with the current proposal and encourage all concerned Hamilton residents to submit their comments with some very important and achievable demands.
Our video also shows you how to comment online, it’s quick and easy!
Please take a few minutes to write your own personal comments: how are you impacted by air and noise pollution, why are you concerned, and the improvements to this plan that you want to see before any pollution permits get renewed.
This section lists the most recent monthly Action Updates for which we have video recordings. See our YouTube channel for older Action Updates and other videos.
